初中，由五相故建立有為；三、際為三；四、因緣相續者種子；五、果相續者，阿賴耶識。自餘色心果體有無不定。

In the first part, the conditioned is established by means of five characteristics: the three temporal periods constitute three; fourth, the continuity of causal conditions is the seeds; fifth, the continuity of fruits is the ālayavijñāna. Beyond this, the existence or non-existence of other material and mental fruit-entities is indeterminate.
