18.27

初中分六：一、解真義理門。泰云：言證得世俗者，所謂安立預流果等，彼所依處者，四果是人所證，四諦是證得世俗也。言又復安立乃至是故假立者，說為勝義諦者，今是假安立，由此諦義不可安立勝與不勝也。但為隨順眾生發生此勝義證智，是故假立勝義諦名也。

The first is divided into six: 1. Explaining the rational method of true meaning. Tai says: The phrase 'conventional truth of realization' refers to the conventional establishment of the fruit of stream-enterer and so on; 'their basis' means that the four fruits are what persons realize, while the four truths are the conventional truth of realization. Regarding 'furthermore establishing [...] therefore conventionally designated': what is designated as the ultimate truth is now a conventional establishment, because the meaning of this truth cannot be conceptually established as superior or inferior. It is merely to guide sentient beings in giving rise to this realized wisdom of the ultimate that the name 'ultimate truth' is conventionally established.
