於中有三：初以四塵相對辨食非食；次約段物吞時生悅辨食非食；後約段物吞不生悅辨食非食。

Within this there are three points: first, discerning food and non-food by correlating the four sensory data; next, discerning food and non-food according to the arising of joy upon swallowing material substances; later, discerning food and non-food according to the non-arising of joy upon swallowing material substances.
