前中，言云何雜染清淨所依乃至清淨所依者，明凡夫學人隨眠未斷所依止身皆有麁重，此中但取所依止身不取能依，能依染淨為後二門。

In the former part, regarding the passage from 'what is the basis of defilement and purity' up to 'the basis of purity': this clarifies that the bodies on which ordinary people and trainees whose latencies have not yet been severed rely all possess coarse heaviness; here, only the relied-upon body is taken, not what relies upon it, the relying defilement and purity being the subsequent two gates.
