第六、重明聞慧地決擇。名映於一切頌文，文中牒頌、為問下答。答中，初總舉四因以釋顯義；後引經為證。

Sixth, clarifying once again the determination on the stage of wisdom arisen from hearing. The verse text is named 'Outshining All' (*ying yu yiqie*). Within the text, the verse is cited as a question, followed by the answer. Within the answer, first the four causes are collectively presented to explain and reveal the meaning, and later sūtras are cited as proof.
