初辨學制立中，復有五句列名解釋。一、學行自在不為惑礙；二、不自在為惑所礙；三、現尸羅若懷性罪制不應行；四、現樂行遮罪障業制立學處；五、觀自在過失不行故無制立，不自在者有過現行制立學處。

In the initial analysis of the establishment of training, there are again five clauses listing the terms and explaining them: (1) Mastery in the practice of training, not obstructed by afflictions; (2) non-mastery, obstructed by afflictions; (3) regarding manifest ethical discipline, if one harbors an inherent offense, it is established that it should not be committed; (4) regarding current inclination toward committing prohibitive offenses that obstruct karma, training rules are established; (5) observing that because faults do not occur for those with mastery, there is no establishment [of rules for them]; for those without mastery, because faults occur in actuality, training rules are established.
