18.56

習氣，有二。謂無間生習氣及前生習氣者，景補闕云：現在世熏三性習氣，名無間生習氣，過去世熏三性習氣，名無間生習氣，過去世熏三性習氣。

As for 'karmic impressions (vāsanā) are of two kinds: immediately arisen karmic impressions and karmic impressions arisen from previous lives': Jing's Supplement says: karmic impressions perfumed in the present life through the three natures are called immediately arisen karmic impressions; karmic impressions perfumed in past lives through the three natures are called karmic impressions of previous lives.
