下通明對辨路不論示現。言後三通令遠斷常等者，宿命知他過去因緣，說示彼人令離常見，天眼知他未來當受生死，示其令離斷見，漏盡通者宣說中道。

Below, it explains that confronting and distinguishing the paths is not about manifestations. As for the statement that the latter three supernormal powers cause one to keep far away from annihilationism and eternalism: the knowledge of past lives knows others' past causes and conditions, explaining and showing them to that person so that they abandon eternalism; the divine eye knows others' future undergoings of birth and death, showing them so that they abandon annihilationism; and the supernormal power of the exhaustion of taints expounds the Middle Way.
