次明願智要先發願，已入邊際定，修已方知。三乘願智各隨所知境界通達。

Next, explaining the knowledge resulting from resolve: one must first generate the resolve, have entered the culminating concentration (prāntakoṭika-dhyāna), and only know after having cultivated it. The knowledge resulting from resolve of the three vehicles penetrates according to the realm of what is known to each.
