Below, explaining the worldly knowledge of bodhisattvas across the three periods of time: Regarding 'Furthermore, bodhisattvas in the various stages give rise to two kinds of practices, and so forth': Buque says: The subsequent knowledge observing capacities and setting up teachings is called the differentiated practice with conceptualization involving proliferations; non-conceptual knowledge is called the active practice free from conceptualization involving proliferations. Regarding 'ressembling the supramundane, because of skillfully cultivating this, they attain what is subsumed under subsequently attained conventional knowledge, and so forth': this explains the preceding 'conceptualization involving proliferations'; that is, the subsequently attained knowledge is called conventional knowledge. If based on this approach, the ten stages and the Buddha stage all have conventional knowledge; hence it was stated above that the ten powers of the Buddhas are subsumed under conventional knowledge because they carry proliferations.
