19.118

今此論中以欲界繫見滅所斷煩惱斷故立第二，見道所斷煩惱斷故立第四，色無色見滅斷故立第五，見道斷故立第六者，此約界次第而作是說，彼論約法類漸次斷證而說次第。今大乘中約實真見道一時頓斷，於相見中假施說故隨宜說次第。

Now, in this treatise, establishing the second through the abandonment of defilements bound to the desire realm and abandoned by seeing cessation, establishing the fourth through the abandonment of defilements abandoned by the path of seeing, establishing the fifth through abandonment by seeing cessation in the form and formless [realms], and establishing the sixth through abandonment by the path of seeing—this is stated according to the sequence of the realms. That treatise explains the sequence according to the gradual abandonment and realization of dharmas and categories. Now, in the Mahāyāna, according to the real, true path of seeing, abandonment is simultaneous and abrupt; within the likeness seeing it is provisionally set forth, and thus the sequence is stated according to suitability.
