餘、是得一助伴，是得前行者，補闕云：思及有漏信是得四果時，一一皆是遠方便道名作前行，無漏信戒邊取四果時，若在向中是得前行，若得果時是得助伴。

Regarding "the remainder are the companion to this attainment, the preliminary practice for this attainment": Buque says that when one attains the four fruits, reflection and tainted faith are each a remote preparatory path, called a preliminary practice; when attaining the four fruits with taintless faith and marginal morality, if on the approach [to the fruit], they are the preliminary practice for the attainment, and if at the time of attaining the fruit, they are the companion to the attainment.
