19.26
泰云：謂等位行等者，等分煩惱人煩惱可護也。增上者，不可護。薄塵者，不須護也。
Tai says: regarding the statement "acting in an equanimous position, etc.": for a person with equal portions of defilements, defilements can be protected against. For those with predominant [defilements], they cannot be protected against. For those with thin defilements, protection is not needed.
