經云：不壞世諦而入第一義諦，汝言從因而生俗諦依第一義諦故而非有，不應道理，若言唯名言世俗說有實無從因生法者，名言世俗無所詮因緣生事，而說為有不應道理。

The sūtra says: 'Without destroying conventional truth, one enters the truth of the primary meaning.' When you say that conventional truth arising from causes, by relying on the truth of the primary meaning, is therefore nonexistent, this is unreasonable. If you say it is only by nominal convention that it is said to exist, and that in reality there are no dharmas arisen from causes, nominal convention having no designated referent arisen from causes and conditions and yet being spoken of as existent is unreasonable.
