慈氏菩薩復應告云：汝何所欲？此顛倒因緣事，為有此因緣法為無因緣法？若言有，此顛倒因緣法，說一切因緣法由勝義故皆無因緣自性，與邪見說無因緣法，不應道理；若言無此顛倒因緣法顛倒事故無事得因者，而說汝無因緣自性，不應道理。

Maitreya Bodhisattva should again say: 'What do you think? For this inverted affair of causes and conditions, do these dharmas of causes and conditions exist, or do dharmas of causes and conditions not exist? If you say they exist, stating that all dharmas of causes and conditions, by virtue of the ultimate, are all devoid of an intrinsic nature of causes and conditions, like the wrong view that speaks of there being no dharmas of causes and conditions, is unreasonable; if you say that these inverted dharmas of causes and conditions do not exist, and because of inverted affairs without any referent a cause is obtained, and yet you say that they lack an intrinsic nature of causes and conditions, this is unreasonable.'
