19.48

二十六明四種觀察尸羅。一、由共住信，知是有者，要與共住知有尸羅；二、於厄難信知堅窂者，於厄難或心堅窂也；三、由世務，信知無缺者，雖履世務正信正智而無缺減；四、由言論決擇，信知無顧戀，見不壞故者，信知於一切法無所戀顧正見不壞成前戒也。

Twenty-sixth, explaining the four kinds of observation of moral discipline: 1. having faith and knowing its presence through living together: one must live together with someone to know they possess moral discipline; 2. having faith and knowing its firmness in times of hardship: one's mind remains firm in times of hardship; 3. having faith and knowing its lack of defect through worldly affairs: even when engaging in worldly affairs, one's correct faith and correct wisdom remain without impairment; 4. having faith and knowing its freedom from yearning and that one's view is indestructible through discussions and discernment: having faith and knowing that with no yearning for any phenomena, one's correct view is not destroyed, thus perfecting the aforementioned precepts.
