19.517

自下辨其第五因，初總標愚夫於相名言所縛，故知如名妄執自性。二、別解釋。於中，先舉理教證知，於相名言是縛；後引喻例之。

From here below, the fifth reason is differentiated. First, it generally indicates that foolish commoners are bound by marks and verbal designations, and therefore one knows that they falsely grasp at intrinsic natures in accordance with names. Second, it explains specifically. Therein, it first adduces reason and teaching to prove that there is bondage regarding marks and verbal designations; afterwards, it adduces an analogy to parallel it.
