復有自性雜亂過失者，此顯第七，有現在分雜亂之過，兼通餘二有此過失，未來既有現在之分，應即現在，有現分故，猶如現在，故成雜亂，其相圓滿，應立量云：未來相應滿，有餘一分相故，如現在；或現在相應不圓滿，有餘一分相故，猶如未來，異相之難，為量同此。

Regarding "There is also the fault of confusion of own-nature": this shows the fault of confusion in the seventh, "having a present share", and it also applies to the other two as having this fault. Since the future has a share of the present, it should be identical with the present, because it has a share of the present, just like the present; hence confusion results. Regarding "its characteristics being complete", the syllogism should be framed: The characteristics of the future should be complete, because it possesses another one share of characteristics, like the present; or, the characteristics of the present should not be complete, because it possesses another one share of characteristics, just like the future. The challenge to "different characteristics" frames its syllogism in the same way.
