前中初略敘，二、問答辨起執所由。有我、薩埵等者，此唯有六，八十三卷有八名，般若十三名等，薩埵翻名有情。

In the first part, there is initially a brief narration; second, questions and answers distinguishing the causes for the arising of the tenet. Regarding ‘possessing a self, a sattva, etc.’: here there are only six; fascicle eighty-three has eight designations, the Prajñā[pāramitā] has thirteen designations, and so forth. ‘Sattva’ is translated as ‘sentient being’.
