具中有二：一、如鎌難，謂離鎌之外忽有刀等能斷於物，離見等外無有餘物有見用等，法喻不等故。

Regarding instruments, there are two [arguments]: First, the objection by comparison to a sickle: that apart from the sickle there might suddenly be a knife or the like that can cut an object, but apart from seeing and so forth there is no other object having the function of seeing and so on; thus the example and the phenomenon are not equivalent.
