宿作因中，初敘邪執，第二微破。前中，先略敘執，二、辨起執因緣。

Under [the section on] the cause of past deeds (pūrvakṛtahetu): First, the false clinging is recounted; second, it is subtly refuted. In the former: first, the clinging is briefly recounted; second, the causes and conditions for the arising of the clinging are distinguished.
