In the differences between noble and non-noble wealth, regarding 'without wheel-stones for reflection and the like': it means that without an inquiring or reflective mind, one uses rotating stones and mallets to beat and knead the body to nourish it; this is the method of massage in the Western Regions. Regarding 'kuśa grass and the like': when practitioners in the Western Regions travel, people present the travelers with kuśa grass, bimba fruits, conch shells, or vessels filled to the brim, using these auspicious items to manifest auspicious signs; these are called pure requisites. The 'binluo fruit' is the bimba fruit. Jing says: its shape resembles a bitter orange, containing pulp, inside like the color of saffron. The essence of the seven noble treasures, as appropriate, encompasses both the tainted and the taintless: morality and learning are mostly tainted; equanimity is wisdom; and giving may be included under the mental factor of equanimity. Because these seven are superior, they are specifically established as noble wealth, whereas non-nobles mostly generate the seven opposing factors.
