第五因果中三，開徵問對之，顯非前二，可解。第三約供顯非。復以三門徵問對之難破，若唯供養為因即天無用，若但天供養徒設，若言俱由汝等所說七種果遂不決定，故不應理。

In the fifth, cause and effect, there are three: opening the question and responding to it, showing that they are not the former two, which can be understood. The third shows they are not [a refuge] in terms of offerings. Again, using three approaches to question and respond to refute them: if offerings alone were the cause, then devas would be useless; if devas alone [were the cause], offerings would be made in vain; if one says both [are the cause], the fulfillment of the seven kinds of fruits mentioned by you all would be indeterminate, and therefore it is unreasonable.
