第七垢淨中，耽湎者，著財物也。觀果者，觀施所得果也。謂貧乏者，於自僕從等者，謂若菩薩貧者唯施自僕從等。若中財者，施僕從及前貧者，若大財者，施於僕從貧苦及餘來者，言遠離滅小垢者，泰師云：應是咸字也。施居處事者，施床座等。

In the seventh, purity from defilement: "indulgence" means attachment to wealth. "Observing the fruit" means observing the fruit obtained from giving. As for "the impoverished give to their own servants and the like": it means if the bodhisattva is poor, he gives only to his own servants and the like. If of moderate wealth, he gives to servants and the aforementioned poor; if of great wealth, he gives to servants, the poor and suffering, and other visitors. As for the statement "far removed from eradicating minor defilements," Master Tai says: 'The character should probably be xian (all).' "Giving dwelling requisites" means giving beds, seats, and the like.
