第五解生不生門。遍計所執本來無生故言不生，而能生依他故云生生，依他起性是生法，能生依他及遍計所執也。

The fifth [section] explains the gateway of arising and non-arising. The parikalpita is originally unarisen, hence it is called 'unarisen'; yet it can generate the paratantra, hence it is said to 'generate arising'. The paratantra nature is a dharma that arises, and it can generate the paratantra and the parikalpita.
