第四辨諸地清淨通德。初明八種清淨，舊名八果，廣如住品說。此中，一、意樂清淨者，則是作意為體；二、心清淨者，即以定為體，餘六可解。諸攝報果，名生清淨，故佛地無也。

Fourth, determining the common virtues of purity in all stages. First, explaining the eight purities, formerly named the eight fruits, as extensively explained in the Chapter on Abodes. Herein: first, purity of aspiration, which has attention as its substance; second, purity of mind, which has concentration as its substance; the remaining six can be understood accordingly. Those encompassing retribution fruits are called purity of rebirth, and hence do not exist in the Buddha stage.
