前中，言是處世尊至稱為世尊嗢拕南說者，汎佛說法直爾而說，無有世尊嗢拕南說，且言皆是結集家語也。

In the former part, regarding the statement 'In this matter the World-Honoured One [...] up to [...] called an udāna spoken by the World-Honoured One': generally, when the Buddha preached the Dharma, he simply spoke it straight away; there was no 'udāna spoken by the World-Honoured One'; this phrasing is all the words of the compilers.
