或有利益非安樂等四句如菩薩地說者，利非安樂者，如於現在苦行持戒；安非利益者，今現得染樂名為安樂，體非是善，不招後世利益故利非；利益俱者，樂受相應修行善等；俱非者，苦受相應行殺生等。

Regarding "there is that which is beneficial but not peaceful and blissful, etc., the four phrases as explained in the Bodhisattvabhūmi": beneficial but not peaceful and blissful is, for example, practicing austerities and upholding precepts in the present; peaceful and blissful but not beneficial is obtaining tainted pleasure in the present, termed peaceful and blissful, but its essence is not wholesome and does not bring future benefit, hence it is not beneficial; both beneficial and blissful is practicing wholesome actions associated with pleasant feeling; neither is practicing killing and so forth associated with painful feeling.
