四、由建立開顯道，先辨外相有其七句，第七句於應所說語如所說語不如實知故名不知量，於是處說語中不如實知故名不知因，次通顯內法。

Fourth, by establishing and revealing the path: the text first distinguishes the external aspects having seven phrases. The seventh phrase: because one does not know in accordance with reality what speech should be spoken or how speech was spoken, it is called "not knowing measure"; because within the speech spoken at such a place one does not know in accordance with reality, it is called "not knowing cause." Next, it generally reveals the internal dharma.
