22.71

如說當觀十種勝利，是其自性者，此解體性，十種勝利，如下當釋。言此法能有饒益應可稱讚故名勝利者，此解訓詞。又復此至名勝利者，明其戒學熏識成種，隨所生處應隨逐，故名勝利。又復此法，稱讚所隨故名勝利者，但能持戒心有稱讚，此三復次總解總讚也。門差別者至乃至廣說者，即是十句義門差別，可知也。

"As it is said: 'One should contemplate ten kinds of benefits,' this is its essential nature": this explains the substance; the ten kinds of benefits will be explained below. The statement "because this Dharma can be beneficial and worthy of praise, it is therefore called benefit" explains the gloss on the words. "Furthermore, this" up to "is called benefit" clarifies that the training in morality perfumes consciousness into seeds, which accompany [one] wherever one is born, hence it is called benefit. "Furthermore, this Dharma is accompanied by praise, hence it is called benefit": if one can merely hold the precepts, one's mind receives praise. These three occurrences of "furthermore" generally explain and generally praise it. "The differentiation of divisions" up to "and so forth in detail": that is the differentiation of thematic aspects in ten lines, which is intelligible.
