In the prose commentary, it first explains the section on dispute: "Asira" is the personal name of a person. "Mātaṅgī": a caṇḍāla female is named Mātaṅgī, and a caṇḍāla male is named Mātaṅga; these two are generic names. This woman made a living merely with a broom; worldly people conventionally established her as having great wealth and grand riches, and the Tathāgata, conforming to them, also spoke of great wealth.
