依即於彼見勝功德，及於所治蓋蓋處諸行深見過患等者，即是聖種少欲知足功德，及於所斷蓋等深見過患等，是第二言教。

Regarding "Relying on seeing superior virtues therein, and deeply seeing faults and perils in the hindrances to be counteracted and the conditioned phenomena that are the locus of hindrances": these are precisely the virtues of few desires and contentment of the noble lineages, as well as deeply seeing faults and perils in the hindrances to be abandoned and so forth; this is the second verbal teaching.
