三、由田故，謂於有恩者父母等，若住正行者，即四向，及正行果者，即四果及佛等，此於有恩及以敬田作善惡業。

3. “Due to the field”: namely, toward those to whom one owes kindness, such as parents; those abiding in right practice, namely the four approaching the fruits; and those of the fruits of right practice, namely the four fruits and the Buddhas and so forth—this is performing wholesome or evil karma toward those to whom one owes kindness and toward the field of veneration.
