定受業者，故思所造重業作亦增長；不定受業者，故思所造輕業作不增長者是也，非故思造業是其不定易了不論。
Karmas of determined experience are heavy karmas intentionally performed that are both done and accumulated; karmas of undetermined experience are light karmas intentionally performed that are done but not accumulated. Karmas not intentionally performed are undetermined and easily understood, so they are not discussed.
