Second, explaining instruction. The statement "differentiating internal and external bases" analyzes the aggregate of form, consciousness, and contact; downward it analyzes the various differences of the four aggregates, the distinction between the three natures, the three times, and tainted versus taintless, showing that there are only phenomena and no person, displaying non-self.
