As for 'co-arising, which means feeling born of ignorance-contact subsumed under views, acting as a condition for craving': this explains that taking the view of selfhood as the root, the view-attachments subsequently arise, clarifying that the preceding view of selfhood falsely grasps what is not superior as superior, being associated with attachment to views; then there is ignorance as a condition, subsequently giving rise to feeling, which conditions craving—such phenomena all co-arise from the view of selfhood. Alternatively, the view of selfhood co-arises from them: due to attachment to views taking the self as an object and falsely grasping what is not superior as superior, together with ignorance and contact as conditions, feeling is produced; feeling experiences the self and gives rise to craving for the self; due to this craving for the self, the view of selfhood arises, definitively grasping a self.
