大段第二，解正斷神足，有半頌列其五門：一、勇，二、力，三、修等持，四、異門，五、神足。初一勇門，明四正勤，力等四門，辨四如意足。

The second major section explains the right abandonments and bases of supernatural power, with half a verse listing their five gates: 1. courage, 2. strength, 3. cultivation of samādhi, 4. synonyms, and 5. bases of supernatural power. The first gate, courage, explains the four right efforts; the four gates beginning with strength explain the four bases of supernatural power.
