Fourth, in explaining the three seekings, it first explains the practice of brahma: The statement 'relying on these two' means: first, non-forgetful mindfulness of what was done long ago; second, non-forgetful mindfulness of what was spoken long ago. The statement 'thus, for the time being, explaining that by the predominant power of faith one gradually cultivates the three trainings' concludes what was clarified previously regarding the realm of ignorance. From 'the six bases that are followed' onward clarifies the realm of seeking existence as seeds. Furthermore, from 'the realm of ignorance' onward clarifies the seeking of desires.
