俱舍頌言：初後皰雙前，佛滅未結戒，於如是六位，無破法輪僧。

The verse in the Abhidharmakośa states: / At the beginning, the end, before the boil and the pair, / after the Buddha's passing, and before precepts were codified, / in such six stages / there is no splitting of the saṃgha of the wheel of Dharma.
