又六處勝故由六處攝二種故者，但舉六處生觸時，是則類攝六處六識亦生於觸。觸是彼近因故者，唯識云：謂觸所取可愛等相與受所取攝受等相近相隣近，引發勝故。

Regarding "Furthermore, because the six sense bases are superior, and because the six sense bases subsume both kinds": merely by adducing the six sense bases when generating contact, this by category subsumes the six sense bases and the six consciousnesses also generating contact. Regarding "Because contact is its proximate cause": the Vijñaptimātratā says that the attractive and other characteristics grasped by contact and the agreeable and other characteristics grasped by feeling are closely contiguous, and their triggering is superior.
