順現法受業等中，此及對法皆說有三，從初為名，現唯別報餘通總別，第六十卷有四業：一、異熟定；二、時分定；三、二俱定；四、二俱不定。顯揚十九說：有五業：一、現法受決定；二、生受決定；三、後受決定；四、受報決定；五、作業決定。

Among "karma experiencing retribution in the present life, etc.", both this text and the *Abhidharmasamuccaya* state that there are three, named after the first; present [retribution] is only particular retribution, while the rest extend to general and particular. Fascicle sixty mentions four karmas: first, determinate maturation; second, determinate timing; third, both determinate; fourth, both indeterminate. *Prakaraṇāryavācā* 19 states that there are five karmas: first, determinate to be experienced in the present life; second, determinate to be experienced in the next birth; third, determinate to be experienced in subsequent lives; fourth, determinate experience of retribution; fifth, determinate performance of karma.
