3.70

又彼論說黑黑業者，謂不善業者，意取斷善人所起純不善業，及不斷善人所起根本方便純不善業以為黑黑。若不善業與彼善業相雜，或為根本、或為方便，如此不善則與彼善合，立黑白黑白之業。

Furthermore, when that treatise explains black-black karma, referring to unwholesome karma, its intention takes the purely unwholesome karma initiated by one who has severed wholesome roots, as well as the fundamental and expedient purely unwholesome karma initiated by one who has not severed wholesome roots, to be black-black. If unwholesome karma is mixed with wholesome karma, whether serving as the fundamental or as the expedient, such unwholesome [karma] is combined with that wholesome [karma] to establish black-white-black-white karma.
