今依瑜伽釋云：如行殺時，令他受苦面無光澤，斷他命根，總牽惡趣，此業餘勢，後生人中，障滅命業，令命根促，名等流果。

Now, explaining according to the Yogācārabhūmi: when committing killing, causing the other to suffer and lose facial luster, and severing their life faculty, collectively pulls toward the evil destinies; the residual momentum of this karma, upon later birth among humans, obstructs and destroys life-extending karma and causes the life faculty to be cut short, which is termed the concordant fruit.
