4.163

彼云：三慧欲色一切。如手居士生無熱天彼中說法。若人說法必思其義，故知色界亦有思慧，無色界中唯有修慧。故此文云：了相作意攝緣義。

It states: The three wisdoms exist completely throughout the desire and form realms. For instance, the householder Hasta was born in the Atapa heaven and preached the Dharma there. If one preaches the Dharma, one must contemplate its meaning; therefore, we know that the form realm also has wisdom arisen from contemplation, whereas the formless realm has only wisdom arisen from cultivation. Therefore, this text states: 'The mental application discerning characteristics subsumes focusing on meaning.'
