若依次文復云：文云：或復觀察自已所證及先所觀諸法道理等文釋順觀察作意，順觀察作意別通了相勝解觀察及果四作意攝，非唯攝彼觀察作意，故云若就所餘，隨應當知。

If one proceeds by the subsequent text, which further states: "or observes what one has realized oneself, and the principles of phenomena previously examined," etc., explaining the mental application conforming to examination: the mental application conforming to examination separately applies across the four mental applications—apprehension of marks, resolute engagement, examination, and the fruition—and does not include solely that mental application of examination; hence it says, "regarding the remainder, it should be understood in accordance with what is fitting."
