4.255

對法解初解脫云：於內未伏除見者色想即初習業者，或現安立見者色想即業滿者，俱解脫等所起解脫，於其內身雖已離色欲安立色想而現在前觀於外色故。

The Abhidharmasamuccaya explains the first liberation, saying: Internally not yet having suppressed and eliminated the seer's notion of form refers to the beginner; or presently establishing the seer's notion of form refers to one whose practice is fulfilled. Liberations aroused by those liberated in both ways and the like, although they have already abandoned form desire in relation to their internal body, establish the notion of form and make it present to contemplate external forms.
