The Prakaraṇāryavācā states: "The signless has two kinds: first, the knowable; second, knowledge. The knowable refers to the knowable empty sphere, because through the marks of this sphere none of the signs operate. Knowledge is as explained previously." This says that within the aforementioned empty sphere, all signs do not operate in the empty mark of tathatā, which is named the signless objective sphere; this is precisely the cessation of all appropriated aggregates here, and it does not say that the emptiness of the imagined is the signless objective sphere. Previously it was said that by virtue of realizing that emptiness, both that which is emptied and the realized emptiness are named emptiness.
