4.303

曉了果曉了功德中，煩惱斷及滅諦名曉了果，現法樂住及道諦名曉了功德，謂無相行之所曉了，即道四行亦無相行，前後兩文寬狹有異。景云：斷及住究竟者，此就二諦體說，俱名為果及名功德。

Under the fruit of clear comprehension and the merits of clear comprehension: the abandonment of defilements and the truth of cessation are called the fruit of clear comprehension; abiding in bliss in the present life and the truth of the path are called the merits of clear comprehension. This means that which is clearly comprehended by the signless practice—namely, the four aspects of the path are also signless practice; the preceding and following texts differ in scope. Jing says: The abandonment and the ultimate abiding are spoken of in terms of the substance of the two truths; both are named fruits and named merits.
