4.59

第三四定以領所得即除麁重，更無別體，具二能故，適悅諸根捨麁重故。諸靜慮中，雖有餘法；然此勝故，於修定者為恩重故，偏立為支。然此禪支義廣分別者，至六十三更當釋之。

In the third and fourth dhyānas, since receiving what is attained is itself the elimination of coarseness and weight, there is no other distinct essence; possessing two capabilities, they delight the faculties and abandon coarseness and weight. Although there are other dharmas within the dhyānas, because these are superior and of great benefit to those cultivating absorption, they are specifically established as factors. However, the extensive analysis of the meaning of these dhyāna factors will be explained further in fascicle sixty-three.
