On "deprivation and deficiency": the bad destinies are called 'deprivation'; lacking good fruits is called 'deficiency'. On "being released, having transcended, and separated from fetters with respect to them: namely, according to the preceding order, being released from entanglements, objective supports, and dormant tendencies": Ji says: being released from entanglements is called 'having transcended'; being released from objective supports is called 'having escaped'; being released from dormant tendencies is called 'separated from fetters'.
